Challenges
In this section, you can configure rules to allow drivers to complete certain bookings to achieve rewards. The Challenge Creator has a set of rewards to select from to motivate your drivers to complete the challenge. Implementing challenges solves a big user problem of fulfilling difficult bookings as you can place incentives on troublesome jobs that are typically hard to cover.
You can find the Challenges screen by going to Drivers / Vehicles > Incentives > Challenges.
To create a challenge:
- On the Incentives screen go to Challenges.
- Click + Add to create a new challenge.
Target Section
On this screen, you identify the bookings you are struggling to fulfil and use an existing recipe or create a new one to target said bookings. For example, bookings in a far away zone that drivers do not typically want to drive out to.
To add a recipe:
- If you have an existing recipe, click the Select recipe dropdown menu button to select the desired recipe. You can choose one recipe from the list. Single-click on the recipe to highlight it and press Confirm to select it.
Note: You can use the View recipe option to open up the Edit Booking Recipe modal, allowing easy access to view or edit without leaving the challenge creation wizard.
- You can also create a new booking recipe by clicking the + Create New Recipe button.
- In the Add Booking Recipe modal, you must provide a name and description for your recipe. Make sure to enter a suitable name and description so other system users can understand the recipe and its purpose.
- Add the conditions for the recipe by selecting + Add Condition.
- On the Recipe Conditions screen, you can filter the available conditions by using the search bar or the buttons for each section.
- Select a condition by pressing + Add Me.
- This opens up the condition editor screen where you can edit the parts indicated by a dotted underline.
- When you have configured your condition, select + Add Me in the bottom-right corner.
- To add multiple conditions to your recipe, you can click on the Add Condition button next to 'AND' or 'OR'.
When you use conditions within the AND category, all conditions must match the booking to meet the recipe criteria. On the other hand, OR conditions do not work together. Only one of the 'OR' conditions must be met to fulfil the recipe criteria. - When you have completed your Booking Recipe, select the green + Add button in the bottom-right corner.
- Click Next to move to the next configuration section.
Goal Section
Here you set the goal that a driver must complete to receive the reward.

- At any time, use the Reset () button to remove your current values.
- Once complete, click Next.

To configure this section:
- Enter a suitable name and description for the Challenge.
Unsure what to name or describe your challenge as? Use our Generate button and let us generate three options you can choose from and modify to your liking!
- Next, enter some information for your drivers on how to complete the challenge in the Instructions text box.
- Set the date on which the challenge will become active by selecting the Calendar Icon for Schedule Starts.
- Optionally, you can set an expiry date for the challenge through the Expires setting. To keep the challenge open, leave this field blank.
- To restrict which companies and their drivers can participate in this challenge, toggle on the Restrict Companies? setting and select one or multiple companies from the dropdown menu. Leave this option disabled to allow drivers from all companies (if you have a multi-company system) to participate.

Your newly created challenge will appear in the list on the Challenges screen.
Live Challenges
Once a Challenge is live, you can only change the name and the description. This is to avoid issues with changing a challenge that drivers may already have started.
However, at any point, you can Freeze the challenge by double-clicking on your challenge in the list and selecting the Freeze button.
This stops drivers from participating in the challenge and any existing progress is frozen until you unfreeze it. Upon freezing a challenge, you can edit all sections and settings within.
To unfreeze the challenge, simply press the Unfreeze button.
Expired Challenges
When a challenge expires, it remains on the challenges list and the status field changes to 'Expired'. You can double-click on the challenge to edit the settings and set a new start date to set it live again.
