What's New
Hail to App
With Hail To App, passengers can hail a taxi on the street and communicate their destination directly to the driver!
Upon getting into the taxi, passengers need to open the Passenger App, input the vehicle ID (call sign), select their preferred payment method and agree to a pre-set amount to be pre-authorised from their bank account. From there passengers can sit back, relax and enjoy the journey knowing that no further action is needed.
Note: Hail to App is only available on Stripe.

Rebook
For a convenient and seamless way for frequent passengers to book the same journey again, we are introducing Rebook!
Passengers can book a previous journey by selecting a booking under Completed Rides by using the new Re-Book button.
Using GPS, our passenger app can assess whether the user is in range of the original pickup and prompt the user to confirm their location, reducing wasteful time and creating a seamless trip.
After confirming their location, the booking screen is populated with the same pickup and location as their previous journey, helping your repeat customers be on their way effortlessly.
Set Default Payment When Booking
Users can now set their payment method to be their default payment when making a booking. Previously, users could only set a default payment method in the Wallet section of the app.
Last Booked Vehicle Type
When making a booking, users are now shown their last booked vehicle type first in the list.
Improvements
Registration Flow: Skip/Next Button
On the final page of user registration for improved user experience and clarity, we have removed the 'Skip' and 'Next' buttons and added a 'Finish' button which allows users to complete the registration and bypass the profile picture upload if the choose.
Icon Launcher
When the app launches, the taxi icon now appears circular and one size with the name and tagline of the taxi company fading in for a more refined, sleeker look.
Ecuador Spanish Locale
We have added support and translations for the Spanish (Ecuador) ES-EC locale.
Updated SMS Validation Text
When establishing SMS validation, we have provided context to the user as to why we are collecting the phone number with the following text: "<App Name> collects and stores your phone number to enable your driver to call you."
Updated Reward Text
When a passenger has a loyalty balance that can be used towards their estimated fare, the disclaimer that appears before the quote has been updated to "You have <AMOUNT> available. Use it towards this journey? Additional charges may apply" to ensure the customer understands the full balance of the ride may not be covered due to circumstances like waiting time, delays.
Bug Fixes
Bug Fixes Affecting Android and iOS
- Fixed: Issue where selecting an address to add to favourites is not working.
- Fixed: Issue where the wrong error message appears when changing a phone number from the profile page.
- Fixed: Issue where the vehicle card was viewable despite the 'Show Driver Offered Card' toggle in AppSettings being disabled.
Bug Fixes Affecting iOS Only
- Fixed: Issue where no error is displaying when PayAtEnd fails.
- Fixed: Issue where the 'Arriving around' time when getting a quote is incorrect.
- Fixed: Issue where the map is randomly switching to dark mode.
- Fixed: Issue where a user can change their phone number to a random number to bypass the second verification step.
- Fixed: Issue where the spinner gets stuck on the Wallet screen.
- Fixed: Issue where the 'You have lost connection' message when the phone loses connection to the internet does not disappear upon regaining connection.
- Fixed: Issue where the map zooms out too far when the job goes to the driver allocation state.
- Fixed: Issue where the inputted details in the text boxes when adding a card are cleared upon selecting a country and returning to the screen.
- Fixed: Issue where the currency of the job booked changes depending on what has been set as the region in the phone. For example, setting the region to Ireland with a fare booked in pounds shows in Euros on the booking confirmation screen.
- Fixed: Issue where the 'Other' option available on the rating screen is not translating correctly.
- Fixed: Issue where the tile showing the user has a booking is not appearing on the home screen in the top-right-corner.
- Fixed: Issue where the 'Show confirmation in (secs)' value in AppSettings is not being used to control the time out of the driver allocation animation.
- Fixed: Issue when using the price range feature with a minimum estimated price set, the incorrect minimum price is showing on the booking confirmation screen.
- Fixed: Issue when adding a payment method outside of the Wallet screen, the user is not prompted to add it as their default payment method.
- Fixed: Issue where the incorrect flight time appears on bookings made from a different time zone.
- Fixed: Issue where the text on the push notification when a user's booking has been offered to a driver to review is incorrect.
- Fixed: Issue when a user is viewing a follow-on booking for their journey, if the user swipes down on their notifications or closes and re-opens the app, the text of the labels displaying the ETA and 'Completing a journey nearby' disappears to the user.
- Fixed: Issue on the Pay at End screen, selecting a percentage amount tip then a custom tip results in miscalculation of the tip and an incorrect total.
- Fixed: Issue where the Cities by iGo screen in the About section of the app is only displaying two cities.
- Fixed: Issue when trying to edit a manually set address using set pick up/set destination on the map, an error appears stating the pickup and drop off is too close.
Bug Fixes Affecting Android Only
- Fixed: Issue where the message informing the customer they will receive a cancellation charge for cancelling their booking is not appearing.
- Fixed: Issue where if the user swipes back from the rating screen after completing a Pay At End job, the app returns to the payment screen.
- Fixed: Issue when the app gets stuck when attempting to add a card on SagePay (Opayo).
- Fixed: Issue where the Booking Buffer error message is not displaying when enabled in AppSettings.
- Fixed: Issue where the app gets stuck when trying to delete a non-social account with password.
- Fixed: Issue when creating a second booking after successfully creating a first booking with a 'Via' stop, the 'Via' fields do not populate with any inputted addresses in the second booking.
- Fixed: Issue where the app is randomly gets stuck on the loading screen if the user has an active booking.
- Fixed: Issue where the app crashes when using the 'Set A Time' button on the 'Pick your flight' screen.
- Fixed: Issue where the back button is appearing in front of the loading spinner when it should be inactive and not clickable.
- Fixed: Issue where the app hangs on the splash screen when changing the UI from one mode to another (light/dark).
- Fixed: Issue where the taxi marker and current location icon flash while in the 'Driver Offered Job' state.
- Fixed: Issue where the app crashes upon tapping the tick button when deleting a user account from profile section.
- Fixed: Issue where using Google Pay to book a job on PayAtEnd causes the payment to default back to PayInTaxi on the payment screen.
- Fixed: Issue where long pickup instructions for special locations are cut off and do not show fully.
- Fixed: Issue where a profile image cannot be uploaded.
- Fixed: Issue when the tipping type is set to percentage in AppSettings, the payment is failing.

Fixed: The three following usability issues affecting driver notes:
- Issue where the placement of the checkmark icon in the bottom-right corner is leading to users discarding their notes without saving.
- Issue where the text on the note field does not automatically wrap to the next line.
- Issue where if a user starts writing a driver note and looks their phone or minimises the app, the note is not saved and lost.
