What is Vehicle Tracking?
Vehicle Tracking in Booking & Dispatch allows you to see the exact whereabouts of the specified vehicle and the route they are currently taking (for dispatched bookings) or completed route journey for archived bookings.
Useful for if you need to review the route a vehicle made whilst completing a booking. You can only view the tracking for an archived or dispatched booking.
How Does it Work?
You can access Vehicle Tracking directly from the Dispatch screen by pressing F7. You can also access Vehicle Tracking from several screens via the 'T' or 'Shift' + 'T' shortcut keys.
On the Tracking screen, use the search bar to find a booking to track the vehicle:
Upon entering an incorrect Booking ID, an error message appears stating it cannot be found. If entering a Vehicle Callsign that does not exist in your system, the Vehicle input box border turns red to indicate it is incorrect. You must also enter a date range less than 24 hours.
