The Address Groups screen is where you can create address-based fare templates to be applied to your tariffs allowing for more precise and tailored pricing based on specific addresses grouped together.
To access this screen:
- Click on Address Groups from the Pricing and Payments > Templates dropdown menu.
Note: If you have no address groups configured, then go to Pricing and Payments > Area Groups > Address Groups and set them up before continuing. See the Address Groups article for more information.
How to Add an Address Group Template
To add a new address group template:
- Click on the Add button on the right-hand side.
- Select a Company.
- Select which Address Groups to add, you can select one or multiple. Easily add all Address Groups in the list by using the (+) All button.

Configure the following template settings:
- Company: Select which company the template applies to.
- Matrix Name: Enter a unique name for the template.
- Mirror All Entered Amounts: Enable to mirror all the prices that have already been entered.
- Price / Cost Between Vias: Enable if you don't want to charge extra fees between Via addresses.

Global Increment Amount: Enter a value and press the arrows to increase or decrease the values in each zone.
- Via Cost Per Extra Mile: If a cost is set, bookings with Vias will be charged for every extra mile that is completed by a driver.

Via Price Per Extra Mile: If a price is set, bookings with Vias will be charged for every extra mile that is completed by a driver.
- Customise the matrix cost and prices for each zone. Zone Matrix Table: The values entered here represent the price of a booking going to or from the zone on the left and the zone along the top.
- Then click Save.
Note: Editing an address group template that is marked as ‘In Use’, will have negative effects on the pricing tariff that it applies to.
Editing a Address Group Template
To edit an existing address group template:
- Double-click on the template you want to modify in the table.
- This opens up the address group template as a modal. Here you can modify any values.
- You can also delete a template by using the Delete button.
- Once you are finished making modifications, ensure to click Save to apply your changes.
