The Acceptance screen is where you can configure driver penalties for rejecting, recovering, or giving a no-fare on a booking.
This is useful for preventing drivers from rejecting or recovering too many bookings.
To access this screen:
- Click on Acceptance from the Drivers/Vehicles > Driver Companion > Global Settings dropdown menu.
Acceptance Settings
The following settings can be configured:
Reject Mode

- Deny Vehicle: When a booking is rejected, the ‘rejected vehicles’ field on the booking will be populated with the callsign that rejected the booking.
- Move To Reject Zone: When a booking is rejected, the vehicle will be moved to the reject zone.
- Remove Requested Vehicle: If a requested vehicle rejects a booking, it will be removed from the booking request.

No Fare Mode
- Any Zone: Vehicles will keep their queue position as they move through each zone.
- Original Queue Position: Vehicles will keep their original queue position after using the no-fare command.
- No Fare Operator Only: Set if operators are the only ones allowed to issue a no-fare for bookings.
- Interactive No Fare: Enable to allow drivers to trigger a call to the passenger when they first try to no fare a booking. If the passenger answers the call, they will be able to keep the booking or accept the no fare.
- No Fare Penalty Time: Set how long of a penalty a vehicle will have if they no-fare a booking.
Interactive No Fare: Scenarios
Depending on the booking type, the setting Interactive No Fare behaves accordingly. Cancelling a non-account booking results in a no-fare, whereas an account booking is a cancellation.
Upon answering the call, the passenger has two options, Press '1' to confirm the booking or press '7' to cancel. To adjust the messaging the passenger hears over the phone, see the article Configuring a Ringback Service and follow the information to help you modify the two textboxes for Interactive Confirm Prompt and Interactive Cancel Prompt.
Account Bookings
When answering the call, if an account booking passenger selects '1' on the keypad, this confirms their booking. Pressing '7' cancels their booking.
If the passenger does not input an answer to the interactive prompt, nothing occurs until the driver manually cancels the booking. In the subsequent cancellation of the account booking, another interactive prompt is sent to the passenger to advise of cancellation.
Non-Account Bookings
Answering the interactive prompt as a non-account booking holder, selecting '1' confirms the booking, and selecting '7' cancels the booking resulting in a no-fare.
By not inputting an answer to the interactive prompt, the passenger receives the message configured in the Interactive Cancel Prompt, and the booking is no-fared.
If the passenger fails to answer the call, there is no action until the driver selects the no fare command a second time.
In the event the passenger confirms the booking but does not show up, the driver can no-fare the booking starting 2 minutes from the passenger confirming the booking. Attempting to no-fare the booking before the 2-minute duration has no effect.
To advise of the booking cancellation, the passenger receives a call with the Interactive Cancel Prompt stating the cancellation.
