The Text Campaign screen is where you can customise and send promotions/ offers to your customers via SMS.
This screen is split into three tabs, one for Campaigns, one for Blocked Numbers, and the other for text campaign Settings.
To access this screen:
- Click on Text Campaign from the Passengers > Passenger Communication dropdown menu.
Campaigns
The Campaigns tab is where you can add and configure text campaigns.
Add a campaign
To add a campaign:
- Click on the Add button on the right-hand side.
- Configure the campaign:
Name: The campaign name.
Message: Enter the message to be sent to passengers.
Start Time: Set when the campaign should start.
End Time: Set when the campaign should end.
Total Messages: Set how many messages the campaign should send (Leave blank for the system to decide).
Query: Select a query to view more options.
Company: Select which company the campaign is assigned to.
Source: Select which booking source to use the campaign on.
Pickup Due Time From: Set from what time the campaign can be used.
Pickup Due Time To: Set from what time the campaign can be used.
Min Bookings: Set the minimum number of bookings the campaign can be used on.
Max Bookings: Set the maximum number of bookings the campaign can be used on.
Max Results: Set the maximum number of times the campaign can be used. - Then click Create.
Blocked Numbers
The Blocked Numbers tab is where you can view, delete, and add blocked numbers to prevent them from receiving texts from your campaigns.
Block a number
To block a number:
- Click on the Add button on the right-hand side.
- Enter the number to block.
- Then click Add.
Unblock a number
To unblock a number:
- Double-click on a blocked number from the list.
- Then click Delete.
Settings
The Settings tab is where you can further control and personalise your text campaign service.
The following settings can be configured:
- Enable Text Campaign: Toggle to enable text campaigns.
- Mode: Select the text campaign mode.
- Opt-In: Customers will need to send the 'Subscribe word' to opt-in to text campaigns.
- Opt-Out: Customers will need to send the 'Unsubscribe word' to opt-out of the text campaigns.
- Service URL: Enter the URL/IP of the text campaign service.
- Send From Time: Set when the text campaigns should start each day.
- Send To Time: Set when the text campaigns should end each day.
- Maximum Messages: Set the maximum number of text messages that can be sent out.
- Subscribe Word: Enter the subscribe word customers should send to opt-in (e.g. YES).
- Unsubscribe Word: Enter the unsubscribe word customers should send to opt-out (e.g. NO).
- Subscribe SMS Message: Enable and set a custom subscription message to be sent to customers on booking completion.
- Subscribe SMS Response Message: Enable and set a custom response message to be sent to customers after subscribing.
- Unsubscribe SMS Message: Set a custom message to allow customers to unsubscribe.
- Unsubscribe SMS Response Message: Enable and set a custom response message to be sent to customers after unsubscribing.
