The Booking tab allows you to configure what happens when a booking is made via your passenger app.
To access this screen:
- Go to the AppSettings portal and click on the Passenger App 5G tab.
- Then click on the Booking tab.
The following settings can be configured:
- Cash Booking Confirmation Email: Enable to send a confirmation email to the customer when a Cash booking is placed.
- Cash Booking Receipt Email: Enable to send a receipt via email to the customer when a Cash booking is placed.
- Promotion Enabled: Enable to allow promotional codes to be used in-app.
- Show Badge Id: Enable to show a driver's badge ID in-app.
- Badge Id Label: Enter the label text for the badge ID field.
- Card Booking Confirmation Email: Enable to send a confirmation email to the customer when a Card booking is placed.
- Card Booking Receipt Email: Enable to send a receipt via email to the customer when a Card booking is placed.
- Can Add Vias: Enable to allow customers to add Vias to their journey.
- Default Currency: Select the default currency to show in-app.
- Account Booking Confirmation Email: Enable to send a confirmation email to the customer when an Account booking is placed.
- Account Booking Receipt Email: Enable to send a receipt via email to the customer when an Account booking is placed.
- Driver Name Display Type: Select if a driver's full name, first name, or callsign should be displayed in-app.
- Auto Select House Number On Search: Enable to automatically select a house number when entering an address.
- Allow Address Edit: Enable to allow customers to edit the selected address.
- Share Journey Enabled: Enable to display a share icon and allow customers to share their journey.
- Use Price Range: Enable to display an estimated price range rather than fixed prices (E.g. £3-7).
- Estimated Price Starting Percentage: Set the lowest starting percentage for an estimated price (E.g. 10%)
- Estimated Ending Percentage: Set the highest ending percentage for an estimated price (E.g. 20%)
- Estimated Price Decimal Places: Set a limit of how many decimal places to display the estimated price in (E.g. 2 would display £1.234 as £1.23).
- Estimated Price Round To Nearest: Set if the price should be rounded up to the nearest whole value (E.g. 0.5 will mean £1.23 is rounded to £1.00).
- Fixed Price Text: Enter the label text for a fixed price (E.g. Fixed: ).
- Estimated Price Text: Enter the label text for an estimated price (E.g. Estimated: ).
- Minimum Estimated Price: Set the minimum estimated price that can be shown in-app (E.g. £1.00).
- Show Booking Confirmation on ASAP Bookings: Enable to show a booking confirmation in-app for ASAP bookings when a driver cannot be found.
- Show confirmation in (secs): Set how long in seconds the system should search for a driver before showing the booking confirmation.
- Limit pre-booking date: Enable to limit how many days ahead a pre-booking can be made.
- Maximum days ahead: Set the maximum number of days ahead a pre-booking can be made (E.g. 3).
- Enable Local National Mode: Enable to allow national bookings through an external marketplace (E.g. iGo).
- Commission Additive: Set the commission additive value for the external market vender.
- Commission Percentage: Set the commission percentage for the external market vender.
- Market Place Name: Enter the marketplace name (E.g. iGo).
- Rating Enabled: Enable to allow customers to provide feedback on a driver and their experience.
- Star Options: Configure the star ratings from 1 to 5.
- Title: The title of the rating (E.g. Good, Bad, OK).
- Subtitle: A basic subtitle (E.g. It was OK, It was Great!).
- Chips: Add custom tags a customer can select from (E.g. Clean, Noisy, Dirty, Professional).
- Add New: Click to add more chips (Tags).
- Star Options: Configure the star ratings from 1 to 5.
Note: Remember to click the 'Publish' button to save your changes and publish them live to your passenger app.
