The Delivery Points tab is where you can add and configure custom delivery points that will be available in the Delivery Point app.
To access this screen:
- Go to the AppSettings portal and click on the Delivery Point tab.
- Then click on the Delivery Points tab.
Add delivery point
To add a new delivery point:
- Click on New Delivery Point.
- Enter any required details (marked with an asterisk *) within each tab.
- Then click Save.
Details
The Details tab is where you will enter the basic details of the delivery point host (E.g. Shop, Business, Restaurant).
- Enabled: Toggle to enable to disable the delivery point.
- Enable Hub Mode: Enable if you want to integrate third-party services with the delivery point (E.g. Yelo).
- Enable Webhooks: Enable if you want to configure custom webhooks for receiving notifications for order status updates.
- Show In Passenger App: Enable to show the delivery point as an option in the passenger app.
- Delivery Point Reference: Enter a unique identifier for the delivery point.
- Name: Enter the name of the delivery point user.
- Delivery Point Title: Enter the title that will be shown for the delivery point.
- Password: Enter the standard user login password.
- Admin Password: Enter the admin user password for accessing tabs such as Settings.
- Phone Number: Enter the main phone number for the delivery point host.
- Main Page Message: Enter a custom message displayed on the main page for customers to see.
- Description: Enter a description that'll be shown to customers when viewing the delivery point.
- Pickup Address: Enter where a driver should pickup the delivery orders from.
- Select pickup address for the driver: Select on the map where a driver should Pickup the delivery orders from.
Delivery Options
The Delivery Options tab allows you to configure which delivery mode is most suitable for the shop owner's business.
Note: The settings shown will vary depending on which delivery mode is active.
- Delivery Options: Select which mode to use for the delivery point.
- Quick Book: This is the most basic mode and will allow the shop owner to request a vehicle to pick up their deliveries in just two taps. This mode is incredibly useful for any business that prepares lots of orders that need to be delivered immediately.
- Track and Schedule: This mode should be used by less busy takeaways and restaurants where delivery is either secondary or not as frequent. This mode is great for businesses that need the ability to schedule deliveries for the near future or immediately.
- Plan and Book: This mode is perfect for shops that don’t do as many deliveries and where orders can be prepared and sent out hours or even days later.
- Money collected By:
- Taxi Company: If enabled, the taxi company will collect the money for deliveries.
- Kickback Account: Enter the 'Contract Reference' for the kickback account used for this delivery point.
- Delivery Point host: If enabled, the shop/business owner will collect the money for deliveries.
- Account: Enter the 'Contract Reference' for the customer account used for this delivery point.
- Send Track Order SMS Message: Enable to send an order tracking link to the customer via SMS.
- Track Order SMS Message: Enter a custom message to contain the tracking link (E.g. Track your [booking_point_name] order [track_link]).
- SMS Payment Message: Enter a custom message to contain the order payment link that's sent to the customer via SMS.
- Taxi Company: If enabled, the taxi company will collect the money for deliveries.
Note: To use the pay by link feature you will require a Judopay account and to have pay by link enabled, please speak to Judopay to enable this as we only need the token and the secret.
Website
The Website tab allows you to configure the shop owner's website and business details.
- Website Options:
- Preview: This will display a preview of the delivery point.
- Logo File: Click to upload a custom logo for the delivery point host.
- Website Url: Enter the website URL for the delivery point host.
- Opening Hours: Enter the opening hours for the delivery point host.
- Website Description: Enter a basic description of the delivery point host.
- Business type: Select which type of business the delivery point host is.
Settings
The Settings tab is where you can control whether orders can be merged or not.
- Merging Settings:
- Enable Order Merging: If enabled, orders can be merged based on the same location and timespan, so that a single driver can easily deliver multiple orders at once.
- Merge Order Distance (meters): Set the maximum distance bookings can be from each other to allow merging of the orders.
- Merge Order Timespan (hours : minutes): Set the maximum timespan orders can be to allow merging of the orders.
- Merge Order Limit: Set the maximum number of orders that can be merged together.
- Timezone Settings:
- Timezone: Select which timezone the delivery point operates in.
Service Integration
The Service Integration tab allows you to link external services to the delivery point (E.g. Yelo).
- Yelo Integration:
- Enable Yelo Integration: Toggle to enable to disable Yelo integration.
- Yelo API Key: Enter the Yelo API key.
- Yelo Store ID: Enter the Yelo Store ID.
- Yelo Orders Preparation Time: Set how long orders take for preparation through Yelo.
- Yelo Logo Preview: This will display a preview of the uploaded logo.
- Yelo Logo File: Click to upload a custom logo for the Yelo restaurant.
- Public API configuration:
- Preparation time: Set how long orders take for preparation through an external API.
Webhooks
The Webhooks tab is where you can configure custom webhooks for receiving notifications for order status updates.
- Enable Webhook - Order Created: Toggle to enable or disable a webhook for order created notifications.
- Enable Webhook - Order Status Updated: Enter a webhook endpoint URL for receiving POST requests containing order created content.
- Webhook Listener URL - Order Created: Toggle to enable or disable a webhook listener for order created notifications.
- Webhook Listener URL - Order Status Updated: Enter a webhook endpoint URL for listening for POST requests containing order updates.
