What's New
Top-Up Reward Codes
You can now top-up reward codes via the Transactions tab by clicking on the 'Top Up' button.
This will then display the 'Reward Top Up' popup, where you can choose the 'Card Number', 'Top Up Amount', and 'Description'. As well as, view the 'Current Balance'.
Send Test Text Message
A new support option has been added that allows you to send a 'test' message to a specific phone number.
After clicking this button, the 'Send Test Message' popup will be presented. Here you can select the 'Textback Template', 'Message', and 'Phone Number', then simply press 'Ok' to send the message.
Dual Queue Zones
You can now configure dual queues zones to allow drivers to maintain two queue positions when they enter a zone within another zone.
Out Of Area Dead Mileage Compensation
You can now configure out of area job compensation for your Variable Tariffs > Zone Charges to compensate drivers for customer bookings that are outside of your local area.
This is useful for accepting bookings outside of your set Pricing Zones and provides your drivers with more incentive to accept jobs that are further away.
To use this setting, go to Variable Tariffs > "Open a tariff" > Zone Charges tab, select a "Pricing Zones Group" and then enable "Out Of Area Dead Mileage Compensation (Round Robin)".
Note: This setting will not be visible if the "Ghost Meter Tariff Mode" is set to "Progressive tariffing".
Example A: ABC Cars based in Manchester, will take you anywhere for £2.00 per mile if you're in Manchester. However, if you call from Cheadle, for a car to come to Cheadle, then you would be charged based on the mileage from Manchester to Cheadle as a "Call-out" charge. This charge compensates the driver for travelling outside of the local area and allows ABC Cars to increase their area coverage by knowing if the driver will always be paid enough for the job.
Example B: A taxi company covers a 5-mile area at £1.00 per mile, however, a customer calls for a taxi that is 20 miles away, to go 1 mile within their town. To compensate the driver for having to travel out of the company's Pricing Zone, we can configure the following:
- If the Pickup or Destination isn't inside any zone from the Pricing Zone Template, add to the tariff the distance from whichever is shorter to the nearest zone Multiply by 1.1.
This setup will multiply the mileage by 1.1 (10% increase), for every mile the driver has to travel for a booking outside of the Pricing Zone.
Note: This setting doesn't work with the Ghost metre, and will reset the metre when arriving at the pickup point.
