Introducing the Chatbot!
Our new Chatbot replies to booking requests instantly and is available to customers 24/7, meaning they never go unnoticed!
The Chatbot also supports ASAP and Future Bookings, with the ability to provide any booking information such as confirmation, dispatch details and tracking.
Note: The Chatbot currently does not support different capabilities or card payments.
The Chatbot can be integrated directly with your Facebook page to give you the ability to accept bookings from your Facebook audience.
It will also use its AI features to record and remember users, scenarios, and phrases used by your passengers (Booker).
To get set up with the Chatbot service, you will first need to provide us with the email address linked to your Facebook page and your Company ID. With this information we will then link your Facebook page to the service.
Next, you will then need to follow our Handover Protocol process.
Start by logging into your Facebook business page as Admin.
Next, navigate to Settings > Advanced Messaging > Handover protocol (App Settings) and click to Configure this setting.
While on the App Settings popup, click the Select drop-down for ‘Primary receiver for handover protocol‘ and choose ChatTaxi.
Then click the Select drop-down for ‘Secondary receiver for handover protocol‘ and choose Page Inbox.
Note: Once you have done this please inform us so we can enable the handover protocol on our side.
You can track the number of bookings received through the Chatbot and see any problems your customers are having by visiting the chat session for further improvement.
Chatbot Booking Source
Ghost now shows the Chatbot as a booking source, this way using the Global search you can have an indication of the source of the booking for monitoring purposes.
