What's New

Allow Passengers to Release Bookings

Added a new option to our existing Held Booking Mode feature that when enabled, allows passengers to release any booking via IVR, reducing the need for operators to take calls and intervene. Previously, you could only configure your system to allow passengers to release airport bookings via IVR.

Allowing passengers to release their advanced bookings early gives your passengers more control over their bookings, whilst simultaneously reducing the load on your operators, who do not need to manually intervene.

After enabling, passengers with one outstanding advanced booking, which has a mobile number attached, can call in and release their booking early via IVR.
NotesNote: Passengers with multiple advanced bookings will still be sent to an operator.
To enable this feature:
  1. Go to Booking > Booking Source > IVR.
  2. Toggle on 'Caller can release any booking'.



  3. Press Save to apply your changes.

Mid-Trip Payments

Drivers can now take payment mid journey, making multi-drop off trips easier to split payment between passengers and across different payment methods.
NotesNote: Your drivers must be using Driver Companion+ version 1.8.2 or above to use this feature.
When enabled, your fleet can access the new 'Request payment early' option from the actions menu, where they can select how much to collect and by what payment method before continuing.

At the end, the final amount is compiled as a 'Split' payment where the remaining balance is collected by the driver.


To enable mid-trip payments for your fleet:
  1. In Management, go to Drivers/Vehicles > Driver Companion > Global Settings > Interface.
  2. Toggle on 'Mid-Trip Payments'.



  3. Press Save to apply your changes.
    InfoYou can also enable on functionality groups by editing a functionality group, opening the 'Features' tab and toggling on 'Mid-Trip Payments'.

User Language

Added a new setting in Users, which allows you to configure the language of the 365 products (Management, B&D, Accounts) on a per user basis. Now, your staff can choose their preferred language to use across our 365 product suite.

  1. Go to General Settings > Users.
  2. Double-click to open a user's profile.
  3. Locate the Language setting and use the drop down menu to select the language.



  4. Press Save to apply the new language.

Permissions for Call Recordings

Administrators can now restrict operators to only be able to listen to call recordings that they have made on bookings they have made. The 'Play Call Recordings' permission in Users > Roles > Telephony has a third new option, 'Own Calls Only'.

Hide Capabilities from Companies

For multi-company systems, we have added the ability to hide capabilities from companies if they have no vehicles that match the specified type.

With this feature, the operator can only see capabilities that the company selected can service, helping your staff be sure that the company selected can complete the requested job. For example, if a particular company does not have a minibus, hiding the minibus capability prevents this type of job being booked when it cannot be fulfilled by that specific fleet.
To hide a capability from a company:
  1. In Management, go to Drivers/Vehicles > Capabilities.
  2. Edit a capability.
  3. Toggle on the 'Hide Capabilities for Companies' setting.



  4. Press the 'Companies' button and use the drop down menu to hide the capability for the selected companies.
  5. Press Confirm.
  6. Press Save to apply your changes.
When creating bookings, operators will be unable enter a short code that is hidden for the specified company.

Automatic Log Off after [X] Minutes of NAK

You can now configure your system so drivers are automatically logged off after a specified amount of time of no contact has passed, helping you to better manage your fleet if your drivers forget to log out at the end of their shift.
To enable this feature for your fleet:
  1. In 365 Management, go to Drivers/Vehicles > Driver Companion > Global Settings > Work > Automatic Finish On.
  2. Toggle on the 'Time in NAK Zone' setting.



  3. Input a value in minutes for how long a driver can remain in the NAK zone before they are automatically logged off shift.
  4. Press Save to apply your changes.

Offline Zone Broadcast

Added a setting to configure whether your drivers can see the zone broadcast before starting shift.

  2. Toggle on 'Offline Zone Broadcast'.



  3. Press Save to apply your changes.

Driver Earnings: Total Fare

You can now configure your driver apps to display a total fare column within the Driver Earnings report in Driver Companion+.

  2. Locate the Earning Report Option Fields section.
  3. Toggle on 'Fares'.



  4. Press Save to apply your changes.

Updated Multicompany Settings for the Wall

When creating Wall scenarios, there are two new company-related settings, 'Companies' and 'Companies are grouped' which allow you to configure your walls to trigger on multiple companies. 

If ‘Companies are grouped’ is enabled, then the wall is triggered for any companies that are selected in the ‘Companies’ setting.

Re-Order Capability Colours

Added the ability for operators to re-order the capability colours into a priority within capability filters.

Driver Recruitment: Sign Up Without Email

Drivers can now sign up to the recruitment portal with a username and password and validate their application via SMS.

Automated CAP Accounts

When creating a new corporate account, a CAP account is now automatically created and linked, if the account 'Mode' is set to 'Corporate Accounts Portal' under the General tab.

Improvements

Surcharge Banding

Updated and improved the interface and user experience in Surcharge Bands, making it easier to add, edit and delete surcharge bands.

Updated Applying Draft to Live Message

The red, full-screen warning message that appears before draft zones are set live has been updated to include the following items in the list that can be affected by changes:
  1. Lead Times
  2. Zone to Zone Templates
  3. Maximum Nearest Dispatch Distance Per Zone

Tariff Testing: Auto Focus on Next Field

When adding a valid address for the pickup in the 'Test and Set Live' tab on tariffs, the system now auto-focuses on the next field.

Max Nearest Dispatch Distance Tooltip

Updated the tooltip for the 'Max Nearest Dispatch Distance' setting in Dispatch > Dispatch Configuration > General Settings.

Held Booking Mode Tooltip

Updated the tooltip for the 'Held Booking Mode' setting in Booking > Booking Source > IVR.

Removed Question Marks from Setting Names

Removed question marks from some names of settings (where applicable) throughout the system for standardisation across the platform.

Removed 'Override MDT Parameters' Setting

Removed the 'Override MDT Parameters' setting is Add-On Groups as it is obsolete.

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed: Issue where the 'Advanced search' when searching for ratings by driver does not work correctly and show the date pickers.
  2. Fixed: Issue when 'Independent Zones' is disabled, when adding a new address group and selecting a zone, the list shows zones across all companies.
  3. Fixed: Issue when selecting a default reward scheme, the list appears empty.
  4. Fixed: Issue when creating a Zone to Zone or Address Group template, any data added to the matrix is lost when pressing the save button.
  5. Fixed: Issue where users who do not have multi-company access can temporarily see Driver/Vehicle data entries from other companies.
  6. Fixed: Issue when zooming in using a web browser causes some of the sub-menu items to disappear from view.
  7. Fixed: Issue affecting Corporate Account settings where inactive booking fees are showing in the Booking Fee selector.
  8. Fixed: Issue where the 'Exclude' schedule option in Charging Area templates does not work.
  9. Fixed: Issue where creating a user with a new phantom agent only results in the phantom agent being created.
  10. Fixed: Issue where the selector is missing for accounts recipes in auto approving dockets.
