Redirecting Broadcast Data Zone to Zone

We've introduced two new settings in Zone Details: the ability to hide a zone from Driver Companion and the option to redirect booking data from one zone to another.

These enhancements make the zone list easier and faster for drivers to navigate, while still ensuring that booking data from hidden zones remains  accessible in the designated zones. For example, this can be useful for taxi ranks within larger zones, where the larger rank needs to be hidden from drivers and the data from the larger zone is to be shown in the rank.

To configure this setting:
  1. In Management, go to Dispatch > Zones > Zone List and edit a zone.
  2. Set the zone you wish to redirect to in the ‘Send Booking Broadcast Info to Another Zone?' setting.
  3. To hide a zone from Driver Companion, enable the 'Hide Zone From Drivers?' setting. If you want drivers to see the original zone, particularly to display the number of vehicles, leave the 'Hide Zone From Drivers?' setting disabled. 

Driver Companion Earnings Report: Extras Field

A new configurable feature, 'Extras', is now available for the driver's earnings report under Global Settings > Interface > Earnings Report Optional Fields

When enabled, this option displays drivers' earnings from those who are permitted to add extras to bookings. Additionally, for systems using pricing zones, costs from these zones will also appear as extras.

Driver Shift Report: Long Break Time

In the Driver Shift Report, there is a new column which displays the amount of time a driver has spent on long breaks during their current shift. Now, you no longer need to check data logs to work out how long your drivers have spent on a break.

Display Company Number of Driver for Voice & Call Customer

There is a new field, 'Driver Side Caller ID', within Company details. When configured, this setting ensures that drivers see the correct number for the company they work for when they are called from the system, or by a passenger using the call customer/driver feature.
To configure this feature:
  1. In Management, navigate to Companies and double-click to edit a Company.
  2. Open the Communications tab.
  3. Locate the 'Driver Side Caller ID' field. Set this to the main company number.

Enhancements to Fees

We've added several enhancements to the Fees section in Templates, including:
  1. Adding a toggle, 'Active', which enables or disables the Fee on a system. All Fees are set 'Active' by default.
  2. Removal of the Delete button (replaced by the Active toggle, stated above).
  3. Disallowing the modification of the 'Category' field for any fee that is currently in use by a tariff

Independent Textback

A  new 'Independent Textback' option is now available. When enabled, you can configure unique messages for each company.

Driver Details: National ID Field

We have added a new field, 'National ID', to the licenses tab of Driver Details. This has also been made available on Driver Recruitment as a document that can be collected in driver applications.

App Users: New Landing Page

The App Users section has been relocated to App Settings. A new landing page now appears, informing users of this change

Improvements

Replacing Zones & Reports Charts with Filters

We have replaced the charts found at the top of the Zones and Reports pages with new filters to improve loading times and performance. Now, to filter the tables, you will find a dropdown menu adjacent to the search bar containing filters such as active status, suspension status and actions required.

Driver Receipt Config UI

When configuring the receipt in Global Settings > Printing Receipts, we've updated the UI to improve the usability of the window.

Driver Shift Report: Time On Long Break

There is a new field on the driver shift report which shows the time spent on long breaks during their shift in the format hours minutes and seconds, e.g. '02h 42m 20s'.

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed: Issue when using the Streets Database address search source; it is not possible to configure a list of countries to use for the Google address search.
  2. Fixed: Issue where the Document Sender, Incentives and Driver Recruitment tiles are missing on the Driver/Vehicles landing page.
  3. Fixed: Issue where the Driver and Vehicle change history is not being retrieved.
  4. Fixed: Several UI issues affecting Management:
    1. Issue where reloading a page takes you back to the landing page.
    2. Issue affecting the templates section Passenger Textback Settings, where the templates do not load in until refreshing the screen.
    3. Issue when adding a license for a driver callsign with a corresponding vehicle where the vehicle callsign and email address fields are not pre-populating.
    4. Issue where the 'Zone Type' field in Special Zones is set to required when it should be read-only.
    5. Issues with the tiles on the various section landing pages in Management.
    6. Issue where creating a tariff (fixed or variable) and on the settings screen, after selecting 'Save as template' and attempting to advance, you are incorrectly prompted to save the template again.
    7. Issue when clicking through the menu items for Driver Companion > Global Settings, the "Saved Changes" notification appears when leaving the 'Acceptance' section.
  5. Fixed: Issue with the company filter not working correctly in the Zones tab.
  6. Fixed: Issue affecting the Document Sender where the driver details are not displaying when adding drivers to a document.
  7. Fixed: Issue where there are several missing labels in Accounts > Settings > Customers > Corporate Tariff.
  8. Fixed: Issue affecting Driver Recruitment, when approving a driver application, you are unable to select a company from the dropdown list.
  9. Fixed: Issue when adding a dispatch delay rule in Settings > Companies > Options, there is no add button and no zones to select.
  10. Fixed: Issue where 'Max Bidding Distance' in Dispatch Configuration > Bidding is not applying and setting the inputted value.
  11. Fixed: Issue where email shows as undefined in the Account details modal.
  12. Fixed: Issue you cannot select Address Groups when creating or editing variable and fixed tariffs.
  13. Fixed: Issue affecting Booking Controls, where the 'Copy Rule' does not populate the rules to other zones in the table.
  14. Fixed: Issue with default filters on drivers and companies filtering out incorrect fields.
  15. Fixed: Issue when accessing Management, a white screen appears and nothing loads in.
  16. Fixed: Issue when refreshing the page, occasionally the load screen gets stuck at 12% and only loads after clearing cache.
  17. Fixed: Issue when adding or deleting an address group in pricing templates, a reloading the page is required for the list to update.
  18. Fixed: Issue where existing recipes are removed when adding a new booking recipe to the prebooking bid section.
  19. Fixed: Issue when creating a custom address, the company selection modal is appearing behind the main modal.
  20. Fixed: Issue affecting Dispatch Configuration > General where validation messages are incorrectly appearing.
  21. Fixed: Issue where the company filter in user roles is not being respected when accessing various areas in Management.
  22. Fixed: Issue where settings under General Settings > Companies cannot be edited upon enabling the 'Use Time Zone' in General Settings > User Interface.
  23. Fixed: Issue where deleting a vehicle does not update the table UI until refreshing the page.
  24. Fixed: Issue where a new draft configuration cannot be created in Zone Maker.
  25. Fixed: Issue with the zone list not populating when adding an address booking tag.
  26. Fixed: Issue with inactive drivers appearing in the list in Booking Tags.
  27. Fixed: Issue where an error occurs when turning off any booking priorities in General Settings.
