Accounts Analysis - 365 Analytics

What Is This Section?

In this tab, you can view an analysis of your accounts through different charts including your top accounts, your bookings and revenue by month and your total revenues and average revenue per booking.

Getting Started

On the 365 Portal, select the Analytics tile. Navigate to Accounts > Accounts Analysis.

How It Works

Your data is automatically imported and updated in Analytics, where you can explore it using built-in filters for a more targeted view. You also have the option to export your visualised data in Excel format, enabling deeper analysis and easier sharing with others.

Filter Button ( ) - Click the Filter icon to open it. After adjusting the filter, click anywhere on the page to close the window.

You can filter your data by:

  • Company - Choose a company to filter your data (applicable in a multi-company system).
  • Account Type - Select the type of account (e.g. customer) to filter by.
  • Account -  Select a specific account to view customer data.
  • Number of Months to Display - Specify a range of 1 to 12 months of data to display.
  • Number of Customers to Display - Determine how many customers' data you want to view.

Focus Mode (- Hover over the different graphics and use this button to enlarge the report visual to see more detail.

You cannot filter your data whilst in focus mode; your existing filter will remain until changed. Your current filters remain active while you are in focus mode. To change your filters, click 'Back to report,' make your adjustments, and then return to focus mode.

Exporting Data

To export your data:

  1. Hover over a visual to export.
  2. Click the Three Dots ( ... ) icon in the top-right corner.

Note: Depending on the visual you are exporting will determine whether you can choose the type of format it is exported in.

Tables can be exported as 'Data with current layout' and 'Summarised data'.

Visualised data such as graphs can only be exported as 'Summarised data'.

If exporting as 'Summarised data', you can use the File Format dropdown to select whether to export as .xlsx or csv.
  3. Press the Export button.
  4. Your file will then begin downloading. Once downloaded, you can open your file from your file explorer.

What Are The Different Sections?

Top Accounts

This section includes details on your top accounts. See who your largest customers are by revenue and quantity of bookings in the last six months.

You can filter the data and visualisations by company or by clicking on an account's name. This selects that account and their related data is highlighted on the report visual on each section, with the other data faded out.

Hover over the bubbles to see details about the account, including name, total booking cost and number of bookings.

Bookings and Revenue by Month

See an overview of your bookings and revenue by month in a ribbon chart, which shows the data category with the largest value at the top.

Click on a segment within the ribbon chart to highlight this particular account details across the different charts. Re-click on the same segment to return to the complete overview.

Total

This section displays your totals, such as total revenue and average revenue per booking. The combo chart contains two Y-axes: the left side representing total revenue, while the right shows the average revenue per booking.

To highlight the data of a particular month in the year, click on a bar within the chart.
