What's New

Active Rewards Icon Without Active Booking Bidding

With Active Bidding disabled, when activating a reward, your currently active reward icon now appears on the status bar. You can easily access your active rewards by tapping this icon and see the reward type you currently have active.

Custom Documents Reflected in Driver Companion

When a custom document is created or updated in Management, the documents are now reflected in Driver Companion. Also included are notifications and warnings of upcoming expiry or expired custom documents.

Improvements

Improvements to Landscape Mode

For an improved user experience when using Driver Companion in landscape mode, we have introduced several updates, including:
  1. Moving the address note field into the main destination so it is always clearly visible when on a job.
  2. The left-hand menu is fully scrollable, ensuring the elements are not condensed and lost under fixed items.
  3. On the Booking Details screen, the booking address now appears in a single line.
  4. Increasing the menu text size on the left and right-hand menus, making it clearer to read.
  5. Updating the job offer screen to show pick up and drop off in two vertical sections
  6. Addressed performance issues affecting loading UI elements and the transitions between pages.

Cabcard Update

To ensure new Bluetooth devices can continue to connect and work with Driver Companion, we have upgraded the Cadcard SDK. Following this, all core functionality works correctly, allowing you to complete jobs and take payment using Cabcard

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed: Issue where the popup containing the map with zone update information does not appear on tablets when zones are modified.
  2. Fixed: Issue where updated licence fields are not reflected in Driver Companion, only showing the changes when logging out and back into the app.
  3. Fixed: Issue where the penalty and break times do not appear in the status bar.
  4. Fixed: Issue where alphabetical letters cannot be entered in authorisation passcode for CAP account bookings.
  5. Fixed: Issue where the current bid highlight does not show on active bidding.
  6. Fixed: Issue where the rewards earned and reward progress screens at the end of a job are not correctly timing out and showing the next screen.
  7. Fixed: Issue with landscape mode where switching between the list and map view results in the job details disappearing.
  8. Fixed: UI Issues with the Autobid Radius settings screen when the device has a large font size.
  9. Fixed: Issue when using a Super Job reward, the text incorrectly displays "New Reward Earned" instead of "Congratulations".
  10. Fixed: Issue where Driver Companion does not prompt for a signature when required by an accounts automator recipe.
  11. Fixed: Issue where Driver Companion does not ignore repeated messages sent from Ghost
