What's New

What's New As Directed Bookings

Your E-Booking system can now accept 'As Directed' bookings from passengers. The booking form features a new button labelled 'I will tell the driver' beneath the destination field. When selected, this option allows passengers to provide their destination directly to the driver.
To configure this setting:
  1. In AppSettings, go to Admin > Payment > As Directed.
  2. Toggle on the 'As Directed Ebooker' setting.
  3. The following two payment methods are available with As Directed bookings: Cash and Card.
    Note: You can only select the card option if your payment provider is set to Stripe.

Set Passenger Emails To Be Mandatory

The 'Force Email For Booking' setting in AppSettings now requires passengers to enter an email address when making a 'For Other' booking. If a passenger attempts to book without providing an email, the email field is highlighted in red, and the Book button remains disabled until the field is completed.
To configure this setting:
  1. In AppSettings, go to Ebooking > Booking.
  2. Toggle on the 'Force Email For Booking' setting

Improvements

Activities: Showing No Fare

In Activities, within the Cancelled tab, there is a new filter for the 'No Fares Only' category. When applying this filter, only bookings marked as no fare appear in the columns.

Updated Translations

Throughout E-Booker, we've updated translations to improve the experience across various languages.

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed: Issue where the locale for Spanish - Catalan was incorrect.
  2. Fixed: Issue when using a booking template that has a special meeting point; the meeting point on the map is incorrect.
  3. Fixed: Issue when a dropdown list is opened, the list is closed automatically if the user scrolls within the window.
  4. Fixed: Issue where the incorrect font is used on the calendar for the month and year.
  5. Fixed: Issue when using a booking template where extra information is requested for the pickup address, the 'Extra information is required' modal that appears has no input field to enter the information.
  6. Fixed: Issue affecting the Safari web browser where the cards on the Activities page are not visible. Fixed: Issue where favourite addresses cannot be added
