Follow on bookings - DC+ (Beta)

Driver Companion+ is currently in beta. You may encounter bugs, and features and behaviour may change as improvements and updates are made.

What are 'Follow on bookings'?

'Follow on Booking' mode lets you receive your next job before you finish your current one, when your status is Soon to Clear. Follow on bookings help reduce waiting time between jobs and allows you to keep working without delays. It also helps passengers, as they can see and track their assigned vehicle earlier.

Note: Follow on bookings may not be available, depending on your taxi company's settings.

When you are close to completing your current job, a follow-on booking may automatically appear on your screen. You can then choose whether to accept the booking. If you do not want the follow on booking, you can opt out while you are still completing your current job.

If there is a problem with your current booking and you need to change your decision, you can recover the follow on booking at any time.

Accepting follow on bookings

If you are eligible for follow on bookings, a pop-up will appear while you are active on a job.

You do not need to do anything to accept a follow on booking, only accept the job offer when it is sent to you.

Opt-out of follow on bookings

To opt out of follow on bookings:

When the "You qualify for follow on bookings" pop-up appears, tap it.
On the screen, tap and hold the circle with the two left arrows ( << ) and swipe to the left.

You will then no longer receive follow on bookings for the rest of your shift.
