To access this screen:

1. Click on Pricing from the Drivers/Vehicles > Driver Companion > Global Settings dropdown menu.
   

Pricing Settings

The following settings can be configured:

Vehicle Communications

• Price Mode for Account: Set to either Use Estimate or Shout fare for account jobs. 
  • Use Estimate: If enabled the fare will come from the variable tariff that was used on the booking. Anything that is shouted will be ignored when using this setting.
  • Shout Fare: If enabled the fare will be shouted from the meter if one is enabled, else it will be shouted by the driver.
• Price Mode for Cash: Set to either Use Estimate or Shout fare for cash jobs.
• Replace (As Directed): Set to replace the ‘as directed’ destinations with the nearest street or zone.
• Nearest Street Threshold: Limit how far the system will search for the nearest street.
• Send Fare When Replacing Destination: Enable to send drivers an updated fare when replacing the destination with ‘as directed’.
• MDT Currency Decimal Places: Set by how many decimal places the currency should be shown.
• Price/Cost Recalculation Max No GPS Speed (cm/s): Set what speed the system should assume a driver is going if GPS is unavailable.
• Price/Cost Recalculation Waiting Time Mode: Set when drivers can enable waiting time mode.
• Price/Cost Recalculation Display Only In-App: Enable to only display the Autocab meter while on Driver Companion.

Note: A 'shout' means that the driver sends the price of a job either by using the meter or by typing the fare manually.

Autocab Internal Meter

• Enable Meter By Message: Set to prompt drivers via a message to enable the Autocab meter.
• Autocab Internal Meter Apply Minimum Fare Always: Enable to always apply a minimum fare when the internal meter is enabled.
• Autocab Internal Meter Query Tariff: Enable for the system to check which tariff to use for each driver’s meter.
• Autocab Internal Meter for Street Booking: Enable to show the internal meter for street bookings.
• Send Fixed Price To Autocab Internal Meters: Enable to send fixed prices to the internal meter.
• Send System Tariff To Autocab Internal Meters: Enable to send system tariffs to the internal meter. 
• Ghost pricing meter capabilities for street pickup: This allows you to select custom Ghost pricing capabilities for street pickup.
• Ghost Pricing Meter Charging Method: Select which method the Ghost meter will charge based on.
• Ghost Meter Tariff Mode: Select which tariff mode the Ghost meter will use.
• Switch Meter on Reminder Tolerance (m):Enter the distance in metres (m) that the driver must be from the pickup before their Driver Companion begins to alert them to start their meter. The default setting is 400 metres.

Bookings

• Send Price For Account Booking (Fixed Price): Set which monetary price value the driver will be sent for fixed-price account bookings.
• Send Price For Account Booking (Variable Price): Set which monetary price value the driver will be sent for variable price account bookings.
• Send Price For Cash Booking (Fixed Price): Set which monetary price value the driver will be sent for fixed-price cash bookings.
• Send Price For Cash Booking (Variable Price): Set which monetary price value the driver will be sent for variable price cash bookings.
• Always Include Cost In Driver Companion History: Enable to always include the booking ‘cost’ in Driver Companion’s history. 

Cash Bookings

• Automatic Price Recalculation For Cash On Shout: Enable to ignore the driver shouted fare and instead recalculate the fare based on the distance. 
• Waiting Time Minutes Free: Set how many minutes are ‘free’ while waiting for a customer.
