Driver Companion+ is currently in beta. You may encounter bugs, and features and behaviour may change as improvements and updates are made.
Going online starts your shift and allows you to receive job requests. Going offline ends your shift and stops all new job requests.
Starting your shift (going online)
When you log into Driver Companion+, you are offline by default.
To go online and start your shift:
- Open the app and login.
- Tap the Start (▶) button at the bottom of the screen.
You are now online and available to receive job requests.
Depending on your system’s configuration, you may be asked to enter information when going online.
This can include:
- Your PIN.
- Your vehicle mileage.
- Your vehicle registration.
- A combination of the above.
A message will appear on screen asking for this information if it is required.
Ending your shift (going offline)
When you have finished work, you should end your shift and go offline.
To go offline:
- On the Zones view, tap the three dots ( ... ) next to your status.
- From Shift modes, select 'Go Offline'.
You are now offline and will no longer receive job requests.
You can safely log out and close the app once your shift has ended.
Depending on your system’s configuration, you may be asked to enter:
- Your vehicle mileage.
This will be shown on screen before your shift fully ends.
