How to start a street pickup - DC+ (Beta)

Driver Companion+ is currently in beta. You may encounter bugs, and features and behaviour may change as improvements and updates are made.

Street pickup lets you to start a job without it being dispatched to you by the system, allowing you to pick up passengers who hail you on a rank or the street.

To start a street pickup:

Make sure you are online.
Depending on your taxi company's set up, your street pickup action may be a floating button or a option in the Actions menu:
Press the three dots ( ⋮ ) in the top bar.
Tap the 'Street Pickup' option.
Or, tap the 'Street Pickup' button on the home screen.
If manual tariff selection is required (depends on your company set up) Driver Companion+ prompts you to do so. Select an appropriate tariff from the menu.

Otherwise, the meter starts with a tariff selected automatically.
Select a drop off zone.
You can then begin the journey.
Complete the job as normal.

Note: Depending on your taxi company's set up, you may not have access to the street pickup feature.

Your taxi meter must also be initalised first before starting a street pickup.
