Settings - Driver Companion
The settings section allows you to customise Driver Companion device settings.
To manage your device settings:
- Press on the Settings button within the left-hand menu.
This will then list all the available device settings.
Alert Volume: This allows you to control how loud your alerts are within the app.
Text To Speech: Reads out the job details and zone name when a new job is available.
Zone change alert: Receive alerts upon change of plotting to a different zone.
Initial job view:
- Show Map: This option shows the point of pick-up and drop-off on the map once the job has been accepted.
- Show Address: This option shows the job information in text view once the job has been accepted.
Show Distance: This will show the distance from your location to other zones.
Speaker Phone Mode: If enabled all calls will be on loudspeaker by default whilst on shift.
Select App Theme: This allows you to toggle between day mode or night mode, by default, this is set to Auto.
Select App Orientation: This allows you to choose which orientation the app should be in, by default, this is set to Auto.
New Bid Available Alert: This allows you to receive an alert if a job is waiting to be dispatched so you can bid for it in quiet periods.
Manage Bluetooth Devices: This allows you to configure or pair Bluetooth devices such as PayPal Here machine, External Meters, and others.
