Taking a break - DC+ (Beta)

Driver Companion+ is currently in beta. You may encounter bugs, and features and behaviour may change as improvements and updates are made.

When you need to take a break, you can start a break on your device to ensure you don't receive job offers until it is over. You can choose between a short or a long break.

Taking a Break

To take a break:
  1. On the Zones view, tap the three dots ( ... ) next to your status.
  2. Select 'Take a short break' or 'Take a long break' from the Shift modes menu.
  3. You can see your remaining time at the bottom of the screen.
    Once your time runs out, your status automatically changes back to online.
Notes
Note: Your taxi company determines the length of your breaks, which may differ between accounts and devices. There may also be a required waiting period between breaks.

Returning Online

To manually return to your shift:
  1. Back on the Zones view, tap the three dots ( ... ) next to your status.
  2. Select 'Finish break' from the Shift modes menu.
You will then be back on shift and able to receive job offers.
