Have you received excellent service from your driver and would like to show your appreciation? You can easily do so by leaving a tip. And, there's no need to worry about having cash on hand as our app allows you to give a tip digitally, right through the taxi app!
Our Passenger App allows you to tip your driver when paying at the end of your journey, ensuring you have received the top-tier service you'd expect.
Note: If you cannot leave a tip, tipping may not be enabled for that taxi company.
The way you tip may differ between taxi companies, depending on how they are set up to receive payment for fares.
There are currently two ways to leave a tip, both of which occur at the end of your journey.
You can either leave a tip after a pre-authorised fare amount has been charged to your card, or you can leave a tip when you pay the final fare at the end of your trip.
This method involves selecting a tip for your driver when you have arrived at your destination and you are prompted to provide payment for your journey:
Your driver will then receive payment for both the fare and your tip!
The other way to tip is after your pre-authorised payment has been captured. You may be alerted by a push notification to leave a tip, or when opening the taxi app. You can also tip by going to the Completed Rides section in the left-hand menu.
