Using destination mode - DC+ (Beta)

Driver Companion+ is currently in beta. You may encounter bugs, and features and behaviour may change as improvements and updates are made.

Destination mode helps you receive job offers that move you closer to a chosen destination, such as your home.

When it is enabled, the app filters job offers so you only receive bookings where the pickup or drop‑off is along your route or close to your selected destination.

How destination mode works

When you turn on destination mode, a destination session starts.
During a session, the system may send you suitable job offers that help you move towards your chosen destination.

Destination mode will automatically end if:
  1. You manually end destination mode.
  2. The drop‑off location of a dispatched job is in the same zone as your selected destination.
  3. The system cannot find a suitable job within the time limit.
Once destination mode ends, you return to your normal work status.

Using destination mode

To turn on destination mode:
  1. Tap the three dots ( ... ) next to your status (you must be online first).
  2. Select 'Destination mode' from the Shift modes menu.
NotesNote: Depending on your taxi company's set up, you may not have access to destination mode.

Choosing a destination

How you choose a destination depends on your system configuration.

Fixed destination (home address)
If your system uses a fixed destination:
  1. Your driver address is used automatically.
  2. The address appears on screen.
  3. Tap Confirm to start destination mode.

The address is taken from your Driver Details and cannot be edited.

Choose your own destination
If you are allowed to select a destination:
  1. Tap Set destination.
  2. Search for and select the address.
  3. Tap Confirm to start destination mode.

While destination mode is active

  1. The remaining session time is shown in the status bar.
  2. When you receive a job offer, Destination mode is shown at the top of the job details.
  3. This shows the job meets the destination criteria.
If no suitable jobs are found, destination mode will end automatically.

Ending destination mode manually

You can end destination mode at any time.
To do this:
  1. From the Zones view, tap the three dots ( ... ) next to your status.
  2. Select 'End destination mode' in the menu.
