Driver Companion+ is currently in beta. You may encounter bugs, and features and behaviour may change as improvements and updates are made.

Personal Details

Add and update your personal information in this section. These details may already be populated from the system when you join a taxi company.

Updating Your Details

To add or update your personal details:

  1. Tap on the fields and enter the relevant information:
    • Surname: Your last name.
    • Forename: Your first name.
    • Driver Call Sign*: (This is assigned for you and is unchangeable) Your driver call sign, which uniquely identifies you as a driver and is the number that appears to operators.
    • Vehicle Call Sign*: (This is assigned for you and is unchangeable) Your vehicle call sign, which uniquely identifies your vehicle and is the number that appears to operators.
    • Mobile: Your mobile number.
    • Date of Birth: Your date of birth. Use the calendar to select a date, or press the 'Edit' button to type in your DOB in the format DD/MM/YYYY. 
    • Address Line 1: Your street number and name of your home address.
    • Address Line 2: If your home address contains any secondary information, such as a building name, an apartment or floor number, etc., it can be entered here. If not applicable, leave blank.
    • Town: Your town name of your home address.
    • County: The county in which you reside.
    • Postcode: Your postcode of your home address.
  2. Once finished, press 'Update Details'.
  3. Changes submitted will require approval from the company office.

Ensure that you enter accurate and up-to-date information, and keep it current with any changes.

Uploading a Profile Picture

We recommend adding a profile picture so your passengers can easily identify you.

To add or update your picture:

  1. Tap the 'Add ()' button next to your profile image.
  2. Upload a picture from your phone gallery, files or take one with your camera.

Your new picture is automatically uploaded and your profile picture updated. You can change your profile picture at any time.

Review Process

Any changes must be approved from your company office first. Until then, any updated fields will be marked with a 'Pending ()' icon.

Once approved, your details are automatically updated with your modified values.

If they are rejected by the office, the offending fields are marked in red with a reason why stated underneath.


Upon submitting new details, the reviewal process will start once again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can't I change my call sign number?
Your taxi office determines your callsign as it used to uniquely identify you as a driver.
Why do I need to enter my home address?
Primarily for legal, safety and administrative compliance. You should ensure your taxi office has the correct details so that licensing authorities can track drivers, verify identities and meet safety standards.

Our feature 'Destination Mode' may use your home address, if set up to do so.
Why is my profile picture "not supported"?
We only accept profile pictures with the .jpg or .png file type. Images taken with your phone camera should automatically be in one of these formats.
If uploading a photo from your phone files, check to see if the image name ends in either ".jpg" or ".png".
