The Zone to Zone screen is where you can create route-based fare templates to be applied to your tariffs.

To access this screen:

1. Click on Zone to Zone from the Pricing and Payments > Templates dropdown menu.

How to Add a Zone-to-Zone Template

To add a new zone-to-zone template:

1. Click on the Add button on the right-hand side. 
   
2. Configure the following template settings:
   
   
   
   • Company: Select which company the template applies to from the dropdown menu.
   • Matrix Name: Enter a unique name for the template.
   • Pricing Zone Group: Select a pricing zone group to load specific zones (Optional). This modifies the Zone Matrix Table to only show the specific zones. 
   • Price / Cost Between Vias: Enable if you don't want to charge extra fees between Via addresses on this matrix.
   • Via Cost Per Extra Mile: If a cost is set, bookings with Vias will be charged for every extra mile that a driver completes using the tariff with this matrix applied.
   • Via Price Per Extra Mile: If a price is set, bookings with Vias will be charged for every extra mile that a driver completes using the tariff with this matrix applied.
   • Mirror All Entered Amounts: Enable to mirror all the prices that have already been entered. For example, if entering a price/cost of 10 in column 1 row 2, then column 2 row 1 also updates with 10.
   • Global Increment Amount: Enter a value and press the arrows to increase or decrease the values in each zone. 
3. Upon configuring the settings above, you should now modify the Zone Matrix Table with any specific values required. The values entered here represent the price of a booking going to or from the zone on the left and the zone along the top.
   
   
   
   In the example below, a booking going from EAST to UNI and vice versa would be charged £15.
   
   

   Note: If a price is set to 0, then the system will ignore this and use an alternative fixed tariff, provided you have tariffs configured.
4. Once you are finished, click Create.
5. You can now apply this template to a Fixed Tariff under the Fare section, where you can use the dropdown menu to select your Zone to Zone Template.
